The Internet has transformed the way many small business owners and resellers do business. Wholesale ecommerce websites, such as AliExpress, have made finding quality products at low prices a snap. Or in some cases a snap, crackle and pop.
“As a busy entrepreneur living in San Francisco and Los Angeles, it had become a challenge to find a reliable source for my stores inventory until I became an avid user of Aliexpress.com,” said Jeffrey Ahsan, a small business owner from California. “From ordering the hottest electronics and cell phone accessories for my popular mobile accessories store or finding the perfect sized oxygen absorbers for my popcorn company, Alibaba.com and AliExpress have it all.”
Not only are hundreds of thousands of products now just a click away, but from a logistical standpoint, deliveries from half-way around the globe are now quicker and more cost-efficient. In fact, in many instances shipping is free.
“I actually use AliExpress now because I can get the items I need very quickly in small order quantities with a very small turnaround time” said Chrissie Puckeridge, owner of Adelaide hair Extension in Australia.
While minimum order sizes of just one or two items do allow small business owners and consumers to bargain shop like they would at say a Costco, they are ideal sourcing avenues for larger quantities as well.
Anthony Daniel owns a computer software and hardware business in North Carolina. His company has grown incrementally each month since he started it last year. Daniel stated that trusted wholesale websites, in particular AliExpress, are essential to staying in business because it lets him purchase consumer electronics and computer parts at extremely low prices.
Prior to using these types of sourcing avenues, Daniel used to use eBay. But it became harder and harder to find good deals. Now, thanks to the incredible margins, he simply uses AliExpress and Alibaba.com, a business-to-business sourcing website.
“They provide a trusted payment system that makes transactions easy. In addition, there are consistently great deals available on the sites and this has helped us to quickly achieve success in a short amount of time,” he said.
With extremely low prices, small quantity order sizes, and trusted escrow payment systems, wholesale ecommerce websites are starting to become very attractive places for consumers and businesses to source products. At times even adding that much-needed pop to the company’s bottom line.
“Alibaba.com and AliExpress are great sources in finding the perfect manufacturer to help me bring my popcorn business to life,” Ahsan said.
